She was meant to sleep, but she never really did.
Meet Sleepy—a doll originally crafted by Suzanne Gibson, but this one feels… different. Time has taken its toll on her, or perhaps time merely revealed her.
Her once-sleepy gaze now rests in a wide, vacant stare—eyes cloudy, glazed over, as though watching something only she can see. The wear in her glass-like eyes gives her a trance-like quality, as if she’s always dreaming… or remembering.
Dressed in vintage corduroy bloomers and a knit sweater with a matching beret, Sleepy stands with an eerie presence—too alert for a doll designed to slumber. Her softly blushed cheeks and pursed lips remain untouched by age, but her posture seems forever reaching—forever waiting.
She does not blink. She does not sleep. But she remains.
